Nicholas Hoult is all smiles while on the set of his upcoming film Rebel in the Rye on Thursday afternoon (May 5) in the West Village area of New York City.
The 26-year-old actor was joined by his co-star Kevin Spacey to begin filming the flick based on the young life of legendary author J. D. Salinger.

Nicholas will star as J.D., the reclusive author who penned “The Catcher in the Rye.”
The film also stars Zoey Deutch and Sarah Paulson and does not yet have a release date.
